Yo, I just want some thoughts on this one. Where I from Mom dukes always told me nobody like a taddle tale. When I got older if you told on someone that your cool with to another dude that you are now cool with, when that first dude found out about it it was going to be a couple of rounds of how many times my fist can find your face. So what is the deal with Brett Favre telling the Lions about he Pack. No matter how much he did or didnt say you cant do that were im from. Plus it didnt help the Lions got killed. If i was on the Pack the next time we play the Jets is going to be on like hot butter popcorn!!! With the way he left the Pack and this new info that came out Brett’s Legacy in my eyes is going down the drain! Church! Let me know what you think!!

All year long everyone have been on the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and the rest on the NFC East bandwagon! Now with the Dallas Debacle and the Redskins now back to earth, except for Clinton Portis who is tearing the league a new one leading the league in rushing with 818 yards in 7 games that's almost 120 yards per game. The New York Football Giants are really the only legit contender. Under the radar tho was the NFC South who their best team are solid and plus has no drama. Tampa Bay is a great football team at 5-2 and has two running back that are effective Warrick Dunn who still has it and Earnest Graham who is balling. They are winning with two different QB's that's because that Defence is a monster! The Carolina Panthers who i believe is the best team in the South is rolling as well Who bounce back of a crushing lose to the lowly Kansas City Chiefs, took apart the New Orleans Saints 30 -7 and Held Drew Bress to under 300 yards for the first time in eight game dating back to last year. Jake Delhomme who need to do Tommy John surgery commercials, because i never seen any player come back of that surgery and play this well. The Panthers are 5-2 with the Defence anchored by Julius Pepper who is playing like and elite D end with 5 sack after only having 2 all of last year. Then the running game is solid with rookie of the year candidate Jonathan Steward, and Deangelo Williams is pretty good too! Steve Smith is getting back to his old self with back to back one hundred yards games, and the Moose is Loose! Don't sleep on the Falcons who are 4-2. and if the Saints every find a Defence they will be a force, but still they are a great team With Drew Brees at QB who leading the League in passing and on pace to brake Dan Marion Single Season Passing Yards Record. The only negative thing about the NFC South is that they have to play themselves. Church

Good news Gamecocks fans, I believe that our Gamecocks has a great chance to win this week at Kentucky and here's why. Yes, KT is 4-1, but the haven't beat anyone notable. The have wins against Louisville, Norfolk State (and before I move to Virginia I haven't ever heard of them), Middle Tennessee State, and Western Kentucky. In their only SEC match up they failed in a close one 17-14 to Bama. The score in that game is deceiving. Bama put up 282 yards on the ground Wow. That is not going to happen on the Emanuel Cook lead defence. Although, that is good very news for the Gamecocks Mike Davis and Bobby Wallace who together against Ole Miss who was coming of there biggest win in forever put up 92 yards rushing. KT only rushed for 35 yards against Bama. Mike Davis has had several runs over 35 yards this season alone. I can see Norwood and Brinkley licking they chops. On the year KT is only averaging 194 yards through the air and 142 on the ground. Against the number 6 D the nation I don't see them reaching those numbers. Even though KT's pass D did hold Wilson in check. I don't think they will be able to do the same against the Gamecocks new explosive Offence. After last week when Smelly threw season and career highs with 3 TD's and 327 yards passing on a team that kept Heisman trophy winner Tim Tebow in Check. So look alive Gamecocks fan I think we make a step in the right direction this week. 30-17 Gamecocks. Church

Last night, we lost another star to the pre-season. Antawn Jamison went down with a knee injury after playing only 4 mins. Which begs the question why do we need a pre-season anyway. Now the Washington Wiz is already without Brandon Hayward, and Arenas. Now the season maybe lost and it hasn’t even started yet. This isn’t the fist time pre season has taking one of our stars. Remember when Micheal Vick went down, Clinton Portis and it’s many more examples. You might say we need it for the rookies and the young and free agents players to see if they will make the team. Wrong, the NBAhas summer league where the rooks and and young talent plays the entire time. Also they have the D-League that's features the under develop talent. The NFL has OTAand rookies camp months before the season starts and plus I thought that is what training camp and practice is for (and yes I’m talking bout practice). With the contracts in the NBAmost of them are guaranteed money so in most cases they already know who will be on the team. I think it would be fair if we just cut the pre and just started the season all the teams will be a the same starting point. Then if we did lose our favorite players it would be at least in a game that counts. Church
